In his English practice, he is based at Pump Court Tax Chambers in London, but he also practises in Scotland. He has taken silk at both the English bar and the Scottish bar and has appeared in many important tax cases in both jurisdictions. In addition to his practice, he has held several teaching posts and is currently a Visiting Fellow at Clare Hall, University of Cambridge. He has also written extensively, mainly on tax matters. We regard Julian as a very strong addition to the existing tax expertise within the stable.”
