Jacqueline Fordyce has returned to full-time practice having completed her six month appointment as a Visiting Professional at the International Criminal Court (ICC) in The Hague. During her time at the Court, Jacqueline was assigned to work for the President (Judge Eboe-Osuji) and principally assisted with proceedings before the Appeals Chamber, notably the appeal by the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan in The Prosecutor v Al Bashir, in which an appeal hearing involving a number of amici curiae participants took place in September 2018 (judgment awaited). She returns to practice having gained valuable experience of public international law, including international criminal law, questions of state immunity, and international administrative law matters.
