Axiom members have secured four recommendations in the 2013 edition of The World Trademark Review 1000, a worldwide directory of practitioners in the field. Out of five Scottish advocates recommended by the directory, four are members of Axiom.
Heriot Currie QC is described as “Probably the most experienced IP advocate in Scotland”, “noted for his diligence and formidable intellect”, and “often solicitors’ first choice.” Jonathan Lake QC is “a ‘very bright and well-versed’ practitioner whose experience extends across the range of trade mark disputes.”
Roisin Higgins is “widely esteemed” and “perhaps the most IP-centric advocate in Edinburgh [with] established good connections with firms there.” Paul O’Brien “has a great knowledge of the law and is brilliantly clever.”
