Competition and Public Procurement

In almost all advanced industralised economies, competition between economic entities is encouraged. Economic theory indicates that competition leads to increased efficiency and that this benefits society as a whole.

However, it is a fact of life that people do not always act in a competitive way. Competition law is the body of legal rules concerning anti-competitive behaviour.
