Axiom is the first to define itself and its operation along lines of specialist expertise in commercial and public law.

We recognise that the majority of solicitors have long since left behind the generalist approach to practice and that they - and their clients - expect Counsel to be focused in this way. Concentrating in these particular areas of specialism allows us to build upon our strengths.

Commercial law encompasses a variety of disciplines. Whilst many of our members have experience of the broader commercial arena, we also have specialists in a number of fields.

Likewise, when it comes to public law, we have the expertise within Axiom to provide support in this fast moving and rapidly developing area. Public authorities of all kinds find themselves subject to challenge, requiring immediate and authoritative advice. For others, whether companies or individuals, the answer to a problem may be a public law remedy.

However, this is not a definitive list and our Practice Managers will be pleased to assist you with further information about an individual advocate's area of experience.
