Lord Davidson of Glen Clova QC joins Axiom Advocates

Axiom Advocates are pleased to announce that Lord Davidson of Glen Clova QC has joined Axiom, having resumed practice at the bar following 4 years as Advocate General.
Lord Davidson has significant experience in the stable's core practice areas of commercial and public law. As Advocate General he was closely involved in the formation of UK legislation and represented the UK government in the higher courts. He has acted as leading counsel in numerous high profile public law cases before the Supreme Court, the House of Lords, the Privy Council and the European Court of Justice. These include Common Services Agency v Scottish Information Commissioner and Martin and Miller v Her Majesty's Advocate. His pre-government practice was broadly in the commercial and public law spheres covering intellectual property, corporate disputes, regulatory issues and financial sector problems.
He has been Solicitor General for Scotland, a founding director of the City Disputes Panel (for the wholesale financial sector), a commissioner of the Scottish Council for International Arbitration and is a member of the English Bar and the House of Lords.
