Senior Advocate Depute Appointed: James Wolffe, Axiom Advocates

The Lord Advocate, The Right Honourable Elish Angiolini QC, today announced the latest Advocate Depute appointments.
One of two appointments to the Senior Advocate Depute group is James Wolffe QC of Axiom Advocates who is currently serving as an Advocate Depute.
James Wolffe QC was admitted to the Faculty of Advocates in 1992 and took Silk in 2007. He was First Standing Junior to the Scottish Ministers from 2002 until his appointment as an Advocate Depute on January 10, 2007. James took up his appointment as a Senior Advocate Depute with effect from October 8, 2007.
