Axiom welcomes two new members, John MacGregor and Miranda Hamilton.

John MacGregor
Called: July 2007
John MacGregor joined Axiom Advocates in July 2007. Prior to devilling, he trained in corporate and commercial law and gained experience in the areas of commercial contracts, banking, and company law. He was a tutor in private law at the University of Glasgow and a tutor in business law at the University of Strathclyde.
He is a graduate of the University of Glasgow and the University of Oxford.
He has experience in appearing before employment tribunals and as a member of the Faculty's Free Representation Unit has advised on employment and discrimination law.
John is interested in all aspects of commercial and public law including commercial contracts, construction, property, judicial review, employment and human rights.
Miranda Hamilton
Called: July 2007
Miranda Hamilton joined Axiom Advocates in July 2007. Miranda, a graduate of St Andrews University and Edinburgh University, trained and subsequently practised as a solicitor for several years in Edinburgh, where she built up extensive experience in the field of litigation and other forms of dispute resolution open to clients in the construction, engineering, oil and gas industries. In addition, she gained experience representing clients in the Sheriff Court, including contract disputes and professional negligence claims. She has experience of advising both domestic and internationally based clients.
