Euan Duthie is a graduate of the Universities of St Andrews and Edinburgh. Before coming to the Bar, Euan practised as a solicitor specialising in commercial litigation.

Since calling as an advocate, he has been instructed across a wide spectrum. In addition to administrative law and commercial litigation, he has a particular interest in insolvency work, having acted in bankruptcy proceedings for interim and permanent trustees as well as petitioning creditors.

Euan has appeared in the Court of Session (Inner and Outer House), the High Court of Justiciary (First Instance and appellate), the Sheriff Courts, the Employment Tribunal and the Asylum and Immigration Tribunal.

He is a part time tutor in civil court practice at Edinburgh University as well as on the Professional Competence Course for trainee solicitors.
