Alastair Duncan specialises in professional negligence. He is instructed on behalf of firms of solicitors, advocates, surveyors, architects and other professionals. Alastair undertakes a variety of commerical work with a particular interest in banking. He also has an interest in sports law and has acted for footballers and a leading football club..

In 2006, Alastair was appointed as a Standing Junior Counsel to the Scottish Executive. He is currently involved in judicial review proceedings concerning prisoners' rights. He has conducted education appeal proceedings on behalf of local authorities and has also acted for the Care Commission.
