Anna Poole studied law at Oxford University and went on to train and qualify as a solicitor in England. She worked at Linklaters and on secondment in-house in a stockbroking company.
In 1997, she qualified as a Scottish solicitor and became an advocate in 1998. She has tutored at Edinburgh University and is a contributor to Macfadyen, Court of Session Practice. Anna has been a Standing Junior to the Scottish Government since 2002 and was appointed Second Standing Junior to the Scottish Government in 2009.
