We believe that modern practice demands a genuinely new approach. Unlike the majority of the devolved stables, we have chosen to specialise. Our areas of specialism and expertise are commercial law and public law, areas in which our members have built up significant levels of expertise. We recognise that the majority of solicitors have long since left behind the generalist approach to practice and that they and their clients expect Counsel to be equally focussed. Likewise, there is a demand to ensure a high quality of service - Axiom's recruitment of advocates on the grounds of merit allows solicitors to select their Counsel with confidence.
