Helen Watts has a particular interest in professional negligence. She is also regularly instructed in commercial disputes.
Her professional negligence experience includes cases involving solicitors, advocates, doctors, dentists, engineers, architects, surveyors, auditors, investment fund managers and accountants.
She also acts on behalf of professionals in relation to regulatory matters, and has particular experience of representing solicitors in disciplinary proceedings.
In addition to her professional negligence practice, Helen acts for clients in a wide range of commercial matters, including commercial contract disputes and product liability claims.
Helen was awarded the Lord Reid Scholarship for 2008-2009.
