James McNeill QC graduated in law from Cambridge and Edinburgh Universities and took silk in 1991. His principal areas of work relate to commercial issues, trusts (commercial, private and charitable) and occupational pension schemes. Since 1996 he has been one of the Judges of the Courts of Appeal of Jersey and Guernsey. James is also an accredited mediator.
